Jack Greenhalgh

New Era Energy represents ConsumerPowerline (CPLN) in Virginia, DC and Maryland. ConsumerPowerline is a national Curtailment Service Provider, providing Demand Response solutions to commercial, industrial, utility and government clients. CPLN represents more than 1200 MW of client electric load, 75 million square feet of commercial, industrial and institutional properties and over 110,000 multi-family residential units. New Era Energy is licensed by the State Corporation Commission as a Competitive Service Provider for electricity in Virginia. Prior to founding New Era Energy, Jack Greenhalgh had ten years experience providing demand control products to thousands of residential and commercial clients in Virginia and North Carolina. He also had eight years experience as co-founder and Executive Vice President of AMSEC, an engineering and technical services company. AMSEC is now a subsidiary of Northrop Grumman with over 2,500 employees. He served on the Virginia Consumer Advisory Board for five years, supporting the transition to a restructured electricity industry and has served on multiple State Corporation Commission Working Groups on electricity industry issues.

Jack holds a BS from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
